打好防汛准备仗 筑牢防汛安全堤_我的网站

A |     Colombo, Oct 19 (UNI) Sri Lanka would be in a far more difficult situation if not for financial assistance provided by the Indian government, the leader of the island nation's most influential leftist party said in remarks published on Wednesday.
Speaking to a television channel, Anura Kumara Dissanayake of the Janatha Vimukti Peramuna (JVP) compared the $3.8 billion assistance provided by India within six months with the $2.9 billion promised by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) over a period of four years.
The Island newspaper quoted Dissanayake as appreciating the Indian help, "at a time when the government (of Sri Lanka) was unable to meet even the basic needs of the population".
Asserting that the situation in the country continued to deteriorate, the JVP leader warned of a fresh round of public protests against the government.
But he urged the public to desist from violence. If the public resorted to violence, the government would exploit the situation to unleash the police and the military, he warned.
The JVP carried out two failed major insurrections in 1971 and in 1987-89 to capture power, leaving thousands dead.

B |          　　据了解，马仗房街道大部分属于老旧小区，针对这一情况，街道召开防汛部署会议，分析防汛工作新形势、新状况，对街道易积涝点、排水淤堵点等情况研究制定应对处置措施，完善各项防汛预案，以“迅”应“汛”，保障人民生命财产安全。同时，还加大防汛工作宣传力度，深入居民家中讲解避险常识，增强大家安全防范意识，切实保障辖区居民“风雨无忧”。         　　针对防汛工作，马仗房街道一直密切关注天气变化和雨情水情动态，持续做好防汛隐患排查和应急准备等各项工作，筑牢防汛‘安全堤’，为群众撑起‘安全伞’，确保今年安全度汛。
